A little glitch in the schedule, but never too late. Ps Edmund stepped into SR5 at about 1.25pm, and after a brief introduction by this week’s PIC (PIC = Person-in-Charge) Eunice, Ps Edmund hit off with his talk on homosexuality.

Ps Edmund and Ps Amanda were married in 1996 and today, they have two beautiful children – Angelica Eshwarie and Ethan Ashwin Smith.
Ps Edmund is an eloquent speaker, demonstrating charisma and charm of a metrosexual. By the way, from the talk, we learnt that ‘metrosexual’ is meant to be a positive word, definitely nothing like metrosexual = gay in that sense.
Anyway, the talk was just slightly short of an hour. We only managed to cover the definitions of gay, gay friendly, transgender, androgynous, ecetra.. Ps Edmund wanted to clear misconceptions of these terms being labeled on gays or non-gays.
What makes it interesting is that this is coming from someone who has a ‘unique hands-on’ experience in such a community – Ps Edmund himself lived a homosexual lifestyle from 1983 until 1994 when he decided to walk away from it.
Our talk was cut short at 2.25pm because most students have classes at 2.30pm. It was a short but definitely entertaining yet enriching introduction on this sensitive issue. Many of us were still talking about it after CF.
Another thing special this time around is that we actually raised RM313 from our offerings to be handed over to the Real Love Ministry run by Ps Edmund in Malacca.
To those who missed CF, I hope our PIC saved the presentation by Ps Edmund, which I may upload it here, if I get an access to it. Meanwhile, if you have any question or personal struggles you would like to talk about, please email Ps Edmund. He opened the invitation to CF during his talk, since he could not finish covering much in that short one hour.
